The Malt Maniacs Monitor is a database with information on the more than 15,000 whiskies that the malt maniacs have collectively sampled over the years. It evolved from the Malt Maniacs Matrix – a fairly crude spreadsheet in HTML that showed all the whiskies that at least three different maniacs had sampled and scored.
But the modern MMMonitor provides much, much more than just ratings…
For one thing, we have tasting notes for more than half of those (malt) whiskies, and that percentage is growing. Furthermore, you can search through all the bottlings based on various criteria and rank the results any way you like. Our database wizards Rich Howard and Robert Karlsson are constantly working on the MMMonitor to make it even more awesome.
